Uma -Pavel-Azamah means “Glory of the humble flame God has helped” - in ancient Hebrew. What is it doing in the middle of a song called “Voice of the Bayou” recorded in 1962 by Anita Carter? Recorded in a minor key typical of Hebrew and Aramaic music, this appears to be a deeply embedded cultural artifact presented as a Louisianan folksong, but actually being a fragment of a Biblical Hebrew song circa 1800 BC sounded out of scriptures of the Psalms using the Cantor marks still showing as part of the Orthodox scripture, What are we supposed to think? Ms. Cline performed her last and final concert on my birthday March 3rd and she passed away on my aunt's birthday March 5th..Her husband Charles Dick passed on one of my cousin's birthday November 8th. I'd like to make a futurist music video set to this song. One that's just a montage of a single space farmer on some distant asteroid, toiling away every day, dealing with all the hazards of asteroid farming, gazing at the beautiful scenery, and eventually reaping the rewards of all his efforts by simply enjoying a glass of fresh squeezed homegrown lemonade while watching his kids play on the farm that he built with his own hands. You could even make the main character an alien and it would still work and fit perfectly well.

I got into jim reeves by accident back in 1996. I'd never heard of him. I was only about 20 yrs old. My nan used to always talk about him. He was her favourite singer. I nipped out to a local music store and bought her the CD Jim Reeves Ultimate Collection. I wasnt really into country music at that time but his smooth velvet voice drew me in. I'd never heard a voice like it before. Anyway, I bought various other Jim Reeves albums and used to download his songs off the Internet to listen to. Ive been a fan ever since. Every now and then i find a song of his I've not before, or a different version of one of his famous songs and always enjoy listening to them. My nan passed away in January 2017 age 89. His songs bring back great memories of me and nan sat listening to him together. At her funeral I picked I'll fly away and take my hand precious lord sang by Jim Reeves to be played at her funeral. They proved to be a very popular choice with everyone that attended.
